I was delighted to serve the following menu for my sweet friend Michele.

Applesauce Mini Muffins
Yogurt Bar with fresh fruit and granola toppings
Slice Ham
Dad's Buttermilk Biscuit with Peach Jam and Black Raspberry Jam
Cheddar Cheese Grits Casserole
Mini Quiches

Each guest took home a flower cookie pop.

Aqua and Coral Baby Shower

Over the weekend I catered a baby shower for a Family in town. The shower was a classic southern style and the host asked that I prepare items in that fashion.
The menu was comprised of the following:
Fresh Fruit Platter
Rosemary and Thyme Roasted Nuts
Cheddar Cheese Wafers
Chicken Salad Tassies
Cucumber Tea Sandwiches
Spinach Bread Bowl Bites
Lemon Meringue Tarts
Strawberry Cake Cupcakes
Iced Peach Punch

They asked me to create a centerpiece and I was delighted to find Coral Roses and Sweetheart Roses, white Hydrangeas, Alstromeria Lillie's in white and coral, and Eucalyptus to use as filler.

I sprinkled the daintiest white pearls on top of the cupcakes and garnished the lemon tarts with lemon zest. In my mad rush to make the delivery, I didn't take a single picture, but found a couple posted from the host.

5th Annual Home for the Holidays

For the past 5 years we have hosted a cocktail party a few days after Christmas to gather together old friends from our high school and even elementary days.
Everyone brings some type of appetizer or sweet to share.
The food is always delicious and laughter abounds!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Card Photo for 2011. It was taken so late that I hope everyone received it in time.
May your days be Merry and Bright!

C/B Wedding Flowers

In January I was asked to plan a wedding for Oct. 8th. It ended up that I was also the florist, the decorator, the designer/printer/addresser for the invitations, and singer for part of the ceremony.
The Groom is a Cotton Farmer so a cotton theme was carried out in most details. Burlap, pumpkins, and fall flowers were added to give an over all harvest feel. The guests even tossed cotton at the couple as the exited.
